As globalization becoming more visible in business, private
equity/venture capital industry is drawing funds from all over
the world. Firms are looking for new opportunities outside
their boundaries with India and China gaining momentum in their
pursuit to become economic powers. I believe these instances
illustrate the scope for growth in the private equity market.
Innovation is a key driver in the global economy and can unleash
the potential for entrepreneurial progress. As a venture capitalist,
I want to continue to make a positive impact in driving the
private equity/venture capital market.
By attending this conference, I can draw upon policy decision-making
and synergy of economic systems from the East and West. The
conference will give me the opportunity to network with a broad
group of people representing various nations and backgrounds.
The opportunity to engage in discussions and to create value
through their insights and experiences will only help serve
my country in aligning its global opportunity to become a developed
nation and building on stronger economic political ties that
can benefit both countries such as the UK and Malaysia.
