Chance to attend Oxford conference
PETALING JAYA: The English Speaking Union (ESU) International Relations Conference
Contest is back.
All English Speaking Union of Malaysia members, aged between 30 and 35, are eligible
to take part in the contest.
Contestants this year must write a 150-word essay entitled "How international
relations can benefit Malaysia."
The closing date is April 28 and submissions should include name, identity card
number, nationality, degree and qualification, address, telephone number and
e-mail address.
The winner of the contest will attend the conference from July 9-July 15 at Oriel
College in Oxford.
The prize includes air ticket and transferee cost, lectures and visits, accommodation
and meals during the conference.
The aim of the conference is to give participants the opportunity to expand their
knowledge of Britain and widen their outlook on world issues.
It also offers a unique opportunity to make contacts with people from various
fields, cultures and backgrounds.
