WHO SHOULD ATTEND: This
workshop is useful for anyone wanting to acquire the powerful yet
seldom-used STORYTELLING METHOD to make daily communication more
effective, be it public speaking, presentation or conversation. Suited
for EVERYONE, including professionals, nonprofessionals, teachers and
students.
THE SPEAKER:
Winner of numerous public speaking awards, Storytelling is Leong Oi
Wah's forte. She has been regularly invited to share her skills and
knowledge on this most impactful and endearing mode of effective
communication.
Professionally, Oi Wah is currently
the Director for Corporate Development of Epsilon Advisory Services Sdn
Bhd, a management firm providing corporate secretarial and advisory
services. She is actively involved in the MAICSA training programmes
and has been a course leader for workshop and seminars conducted by
Research Institute of Investment Analysts Malaysia, Securities Industry
Development Centre and Asian Centre for Corporate Training.
In this workshop, she will take you
through the purpose and objectives of using the STORYTELLING
Method, and the different types of STORYTELLING formats you
can apply to your communication, to deliver an important message to
your audience (from adults to children), as well as to achieve better
results with your communication.

James Probert, Deputy Director of Education & Head of the Centre
for Speech
and Debate, in England.
James took part in public speaking and debating at school, where he was
a finalist
in the world debating championships and later national champion of
England and
Wales. He has worked at the English-Speaking Union for four years.
In addition to administering the national championships for public
speaking and
debating at school and university level in the United Kingdom he has
taught or
lectured on public speaking and debating in over twenty five countries,
on every
continent.
This is a workshop not to be
